Kenyan witches and flow

By May 21, 2018May 18th, 2020No Comments

There was an article on BBC online about how a village in Kenya burned 11 women for being witches. The article didn’t say why they were burned, but the answer is pretty obvious – flow blockages.

The concept of witches in this context hits flow blockages on a few levels:
– The villagers in question state they are powerless over their lives (therefore the witches are the problem). Feeling powerless is a flow blockage as you are always in power even if things seem their worst.
– The villagers are ignoring the real source of their problem(s), whatever they are. Denial and a failure to look at reality are flow blockages they easily perpetuate themselves.
– The villagers, naturally, will discover that all their problems credited to the witches will still be there. But they will say that the problems are gone, further increasing flow blockages.
While this is obviously an extreme example of societal flow blockages, it is no different in principle than blaming illegal immigrants for America’s woes or saying natural disasters are caused by the devil punishing people.
Knowledge is always key  for success in flow, and simple “solutions” like stating someone is a witch instantly cause more problems than the initial ones.
