Understanding and following your flow is not always easy, especially when friends, family and society are telling you to do the opposite. Only you truly know what your flow is, which means that only you know what actions to take in order to be in flow.
How do you know if you’re in flow? Well, the truth is whether you realize it or not you’ve always tapped into your flow one way or another. For example, when you go into a restaurant or a store you get a “feeling” for the place – good, bad, or indifferent. Do you want to eat/shop there? Are you comfortable there? This is part of your flow! It also explains the saying “you can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy”. What the saying is really referring to is flow, the fact that the boy’s flow has more to do with country things and that he would not adapt well to city living.
Of course, flow is a lot more involved than simply finding the right restaurant or place to live, but you get the idea.
